Information used to operate the store
Goated Builds and WooCommerce process the information needed to operate checkout, review payment, fulfill orders, maintain order history, and provide support.
- Full Name, Email Address, and Country.
- Order information, purchased product and variation, payment state, and delivery timestamps.
- For each of one to five submitted Gift Cards: brand, currency, encrypted code, encrypted optional PIN, payment-review state, and approval timestamp.
- Gift Card proof images and purchase-receipt images.
- Account/order activity, WooCommerce cookies and session data, support communications, and approved review-display information where applicable.
Private Gift Card information
Gift Card codes and optional PINs are stored separately using authenticated encryption. Per-card Gift Card images and shared order receipt images are stored privately outside the public webroot, are not added to the WordPress Media Library, and are restricted to authorized store administrators for payment verification. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Proof retention
Gift-card codes, optional PINs and sensitive proof images are retained for 30 days from submission, then deleted through controlled, audited cleanup, unless applicable legal requirements, an ongoing dispute or a necessary preservation hold require longer retention. Ordinary accounting and transaction records are retained separately.
Cookies, support, and reviews
WooCommerce uses cookies and similar browser storage required for cart, checkout, account, and session functionality. Support interactions may include information a customer chooses to share through Discord or email. Featured reviews display only approved reviewer information and do not create customer accounts or fabricated WooCommerce comments.
